How Docorix News is written, checked and corrected.

Who we are

Docorix News is published by Docorix, a UK health and care directory operated by Ullah Health Ltd. We report announcements that affect patients, families, carers and the people who run health and care services.

Our sources

Every article is based on an official publication, and each one links to it. We currently follow NHS England, the Department of Health and Social Care, the Care Quality Commission, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the UK Health Security Agency.

How articles are made

  • A first draft is written with AI assistance from the full text of the official source.
  • Facts, figures, dates and quotes must come from that source. Quotes are word for word and attributed.
  • A second AI system checks the draft against the source and flags anything it cannot find there.
  • A member of the Docorix team reviews every article before it is published. Nothing is published automatically.

Medical information

Our news is general information, not medical advice for any individual. We do not promote prescription-only medicines. For advice about your own health, speak to a GP, pharmacist or NHS 111.

Corrections

If you think something we published is wrong, please contact us with the article link. We check reports against the original source and correct mistakes promptly, noting significant corrections on the article.

Licences and attribution

Articles based on UK public sector publications contain information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
