Right to Choose in Lancashire and South Cumbria: ADHD and autism

NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board is the NHS body that plans and pays for health services in Lancashire and South Cumbria. This page sets out what it publishes about NHS Right to Choose for ADHD and autism assessments.

Docorix read the board’s page on 9 October 2026. The page shows no date; its page data shows it was last edited on 22 September 2026. It says the information “is correct at the time of publication but may be subject to change”. The page is about services for children and young people. Everything below is what the board says, not something Docorix has checked: boards change these pages without notice, and a provider being listed does not mean it is taking referrals now. Confirm with your GP and the provider before you rely on it.

What the board says

Local NHS services first
The page lists the NHS services the board has directly commissioned for children and young people in each part of its area. Use the board’s page for those – they depend on where you live and the child’s age.
Providers approved from elsewhere
The providers below hold a contract with another board and have been approved by this board to see patients registered with a Lancashire and South Cumbria GP on a Right to Choose basis.
Not the whole picture
The board says other providers may be eligible, and that it does not maintain a database of every provider holding an NHS contract nationally.
Who is responsible
The board says these providers do not hold a contract with it, and referral is made under the clinical responsibility of the referring practitioner.

The second column is the board’s wording for what is commissioned; the third is its own note.

The board’s own page

“Website” is the address an NHS board publishes for that provider. A Docorix listing is shown where the official register has the same operator or the same website – it carries the name of the provider’s registered premises, so it can read differently from the provider’s trading name. A dash means none was found. Docorix is not part of the NHS and cannot make or speed up a referral. Your board is the one that covers your GP practice – if you are not sure which that is, ask your practice.
